Fancy hat

Julia got a new hat and doesn't seem to hate it. Her other hats are too big and slide down her face, not safe nor enjoyable. Here she is all tucked into her car seat ready to head to the doctor. She is enjoying a new form of pacifier! Poor kiddo has a mild case of bronchitis so we have been cuddling a lot, cuddles cure all :)

Mommy and Baby class photo

We had our last Mommy and Baby class. Julia kept tracking me around the room as I moved to take the photo.

New Bath chair

WE had struggled to figure out what method of bathing worked for Julia. Her first bath was not a big hit so we went to having her shower with mom or dad, that only lasted a few times before she got upset by the spray in her face. After doing some research we decided to use this new method and she loves it, the only time she cries is when she has to get out and starts to get chilly. No on likes that part!

Old School

I was looking through the videos on my cell phone and came across this video. I honest to God don't remember taking it but I am very glad that I did. I think she has he hand stuck in her sleves or the little flaps are over her fingers. The quality is poor but still very sweet.

Hair Dazed

Julia was in a great mood the other morning, while we were preparing for our trip to the zoo, and her hair made me laugh.

Chris and I joked that if we lived in any place other than Minnesota it would be considered child endangerment to take Julia out to the conservatory on a snowy day; we were one of several families there with a little baby. We got stopped by some moms who commented on how small she was. She still enjoyed listening to all the water and seeing the fish. We didn't venture into the outdoor area, rather stuck to the inside parts.

2 months

There are times where it feels like time stands still and yet times were it seems to fly by. Julia is already 2 months old! Can you believe it? Part of me wants her to grow so we can see more of her personality but another part of me is enjoying holding her while she sleeps and whispering in her ear that I love her.

Very classy lady

Julia went and spent some time with her Auntie Jackie a while ago ( just now getting to all the fun stuff) and we got her all sassy for her big outing.

She got to go hang out at Rainbow and visit Jackie's co-workers.

Glamor girl

Julia had her first photo session and survived, barely. The poor kid was so tired but did a wonderful job of hamming it up for a good 20 minutes which is hours in baby time. She spit up and peed on me but it was all worth it. Chris was my lighting assistant as I rolled around on the floor sweating up a storm begging for just a few more minutes of our happy baby.

Here is one of my favorites, she is pleading with the photographer to stop the craziness, poor baby.
