Part two of Omaha Safari trip, ELK BATH

Omaha Safari, who knew?!

We enjoyed an outing to the Wildlife Safari Park. The idea is that you slowly drive your

car around this beautful area and there are native animals in large habitats. Jules got 

a little sick of sitting in the car but thankfully when she got bored she pulled out her new doll, Erika, that uncle Joe bought for her for giving up her cici!

We had a good time, missed out on some animals since it was sweltering that day. Most animals sought out shade making it hard to see. I guess they are smarter than us :)

A Tea Party

Julia is very lucky that she has a great family ( me included *tee hee). On a recent visit her wonderful Auntie Jaci and uncle Joe ( Jo-Jo) joined us for a tea party! A great time was had by all!

Jules' Gramps and Gram stopped to visit on their way through town. They gave her a lovely bag of fun stuff!

I asked her to try on the coat to see if it fit and she accessorized the look.

She kept asking, "Do you like my costume?" Costume comes out more like "cos-cumb"

The Noodles!

When you are young, rice can be tricky so I ordered noodles at Panda Express for Ms Julia

this last time we ventured out. I left her to see if she could figure it out. I thought about cutting the noodles up for her but we had way too much fun doing it this way...or rather she had fun doing it and I laughed while she did it!

The Twist

Several attempts to consume all that was on her fork

"heebbeb" or CHEEESE. 

After some instruction she got better at grabbing a few noodles and learned to bite what would fit into her mouth and let the rest fall. We will work on etiquette when it is not longer cute.

For Father's Day I took Julia to get her pictures taken. They turned out great!

Ultrasound of Nugget

Julia has ever so graciously allowed me to post Nugget updates on her blog. I asked if she could share her blog with the baby and she said, "what's a blog?" So there ya have it! This shall become more of a family blog to keep all our family far and near up-to-date!

We have an announcement!

We found out today that Julia is going to have a baby brother! 

For a few weeks now she has been saying she is going to have a baby brother, she even told a cashier last week that "Mama is going to have a baby brother!" I guess she knew more than me.
