How they sparkle

The 4 of us needed to get out if the house so we ventured out to a local nursery to admire their koi pond. They had at least a dozen trees fully decorated with beautiful lights and ornaments. Plus, they had them in their green house and the extra humidity was lovely for the cold we have.

Daniel slept the whole time.

Cookie mania

Julia and her nana made Christmas cookies yesterday. Our house was busy, busy.
My mom had made up a plate of cookies for us to snack on. As I was taking the photo Julia asked, " Are these for Santa?" I told her we might have to make more for him.

Around here

We have been busy around here. Daniel got a cool new hat, Julia practiced her chiropractic skills, I packaged up lots of orders and did lots of cuddling.

Where is my sleep?

Daniel is such a calm boy, we survived colic with Julia and are pleased to not have round two of a very upset baby. Now we just need sleep.

Decked them halls

We finally made time to decorate for Christmas. We stayed low-key this year and didn't pull out the big tree.

I am trying to find ways to entertain us while we adjust to not being able to go out right now. This is how Julia and i have fun

Welcome, Daniel Kenneth

We have been very busy adjusting to life as a family of 4. Daniel was born November 15. I don't have pictures on my phone if us in the hospital--these are the first 2 weeks at home.

Snuggle bug

The Omaha weather has been odd this summer/fall. We go to bed with 60/70 degree weather and wake to 40's. That's no too odd but right now it is 80...in October! Julia was super cold in her summery pjs this morning so Chris wrapped her up.

We amuse ourselves

I am back to having very little energy. So my mom pushes Julia on the swings and I play with her on using random photo apps on my phone.

Pumpkins, cha-cha slide and bowling

We had lots of fun when my sisters visited this past weekend. We attempted to teach Julia the cha-cha slide and carved pumpkins.

After such a busy weekend we wanted some quality time with Julia so we went bowling. She got bored after 5 frames.
