Popcorn balls

Chris was very kind and bought a massive box of popcorn from the boy scouts. Unsure of what do do with that much popcorn I thought it would be fun to make popcorn balls when my sisters visited this past weekend.

32 weeks

It is hard to believe that by the end of next month I will be holding our baby boy! Exciting!
Here we are ( I do literally feel like 2 people) at 32 wks 3 days. He is about 4lbs.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

In life we have many people in and out of our lives. It is not always for us to know or understand why they are taken from us so early. Gods plan is not one anyone else can control. I sure have tried with no success.
I remember how badly my father wanted to be a Grandpa but he did not live long enough to hold his granddaughter. I would like to think their souls passed in heaven, before she was born, and he held her before we did. Then handed her to her uncle Paul so he could cuddle her too.
So today I celebrate my fathers 58th birthday! I know he would be proud of his granddaughter and growing grandson.

Friday night is date nite!

With my mom staying with us Chris and I have been able to get out! *gasp*
Julia and my mom have been enjoying their own date nights while we are gone. Last week it was the play area at burger king. Yesterday they stayed home and made smoothies. Fun times. Chris and I enjoyed dinner at Spaghetti Works and a movie.

Big girl haircut

Julia used to have tons of curls. They have slowly turned to waves and had begun to look lifeless. She is not a fan of ponytails or clips so I thought a chin length bob would do her some good. We went to pigtails and crew cuts and the amazing Shelley worked wonders!

Here she is before her cut sitting at the garden center and below Is her enjoying her sucker at the salon. She got to sit in a taxi car chair while getting her style on.
