Potty Girl
Julia has been doing very well using the potty, as you may remember, we got her a potty to practice with. When we notice she is getting ready to have a BM (you know what I mean, don’tcha?) we ask if she wants to use the potty and she often nods yes. I am thrilled that she is eager to use it. Getting kiddos to have a BM on the potty is typically the biggest hurdle, they often fear that feeling.
Once her little booty hits the seat we start singing “Julia’s on the potty, Juicies on the potty, Juicies on the potty, WOO, HOOO, HOO!” Lots of arm movements and clapping is needed. She loves to clap along.
Last week we tried having her sit on the big, BIG girl potty and she did well. Her little booty seat arrived today so we gave it a shot. She is still not feeling well so I wasn’t expecting her to go, just wanted her to see if she liked it.
She enjoyed some literature while testing her seat.

Triplets revisited
I should have just tried to take a video! Brooklyn is sad that she can’t hold the camera.
I don’t believe she was trying to punch Jordan in the face, just part of the process of getting off the couch
Let’s get this party started. Brooklyn is calling more toddlers to come over. Bring BOYS!
Happy Birthday, Nana!
“OK, so after 30 seconds on low, what do I do?”
Julia helped me make Nana Kats birthday cake yesterday. I normally would have tried to do it while she napped ( I am not a saint) but she wouldn’t nap, so a helper she became.
We needed to crush up some Oreos to stick in between the layers ( Nana likes Oreos) so I grabbed the best tool I had…
My little Oreo crusher. She wasn’t too excited about the process at first, she kept handing me the bag signing “more”, hoping to score some cookies rather than crush them. Once she got going she was flipping that bag around and even stomped on it.
We went out to dinner for Nana’s birthday tonight. Rather than wear a fancy dress Julia wore her “Run DMC” shirt that Daddy picked up at the thrift store. Poor kiddo came down with a cold and is starting to not feel well. Her little cheeks are the first sign of something brewing. She doesn’t have a fever or chapped cheeks. Just gets flushed.
While waiting for our food at BWW she practiced tossing a stuffed toy to her aunties, uncle, and Nana.
Relaxing after some tasty cake.
The cake! Happy “first” birthday! :)
